Important Dates

2021-2022 Stationery Lists and Sales Dates
 
Stationery for Grades 1 - 8 will be sold at OLPR on Thursday, August 12th and Thursday, August 19th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. There are no night hours. Please note that if you are unable to make the stationery sale, you can drop off your student's order at the front office. Simply write down the items you need and place it in an envelope with your payment. Please include your student's name and grade on the envelope, and we will have your items ready for your student on his/her first day.

2021-2022 Back-to-School Dates
 
Grades 1-8 begin with orientation on Wednesday, September 1st and Thursday, September 2nd with a 1:00 p.m. dismissal. September 8th, 9th and 10th are 1:00 p.m. dismissals.
 
Full days for grades 1-8 begin on Monday, September 13th.
 
Grades PreK 3, PreK 4 and K orientation day will be Monday, September 13th.
The schedule is as follows:
Girls: 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Boys: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. 
 
September 14th - 17th are 11:45 a.m. dismissals for PreK 3, PreK 4 and K. Full days for PreK-3, PreK-4 and K begin on September 20th. 
 
After School CARES begins on Monday, September 20th.


Parent Meetings and Back to School Nights
 
Due to the changes in health and safety policies, we will be doing back to school nights virtually again this year. The schedule for each grade/room is below. All parents/guardians will receive an email from their student's classroom teacher no later than this Thursday, August 19th with instructions and information. Please note that if your student is in a grade with two classrooms, you will find out which your student is in when the teacher sends the instructions email Please do not call the school office for this information. If for any reason you have not received an email from the classroom teacher by Friday morning, email Ms. King at aking@olpr.org.

2021-2022 Entry and Dismissal Times
 
Door open daily for students at 7:30 a.m., and all students are required to be in by 7:50 a.m. Students will be marked late after 7:50 a.m.

  • Grades 1 to 4 enter through the main doors on Thompson Street
  • Grades 5 to 8 enter through the brown doors on Edgemont Street through the school yard parking lot
  • PreK-3, PreK-4 and K enter through the Madison Street doors


Dismissal for PreK-3, PreK-4 and K is 2:45 p.m. Dismissal for Grades 1 to 8 is 2:55 p.m.

  • PreK-4, Grade 3 and Grade 4 exit through the main doors on Thompson Street
  • PreK-3, Grade 5, Grade, 6, Grade 7 and Grade 8 exit on Madison Street
  • K, Grade 1 and Grade 2 dismiss in the school yard

Summer Office Hours
 
Summer office hours in July are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In August, the office will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
 


2021-2022 Dress Code and Uniform Policy

Summer Packets
 
Students in grades 1 through 8 are required to complete the summer packets that they received at the end of the 2020-2021 school year. If you have a new student entering grades 1 - 8, you will need to stop by the school office to pick up his/her summer packet. Summer packets are NOT optional. All completed packets are due back the first day of school and count as your student's first grades for the new school year.


Admission Cards
 
All students will be required to have an admission card to enter school on the first day. Admission cards can be picked-up at the front office on August 27th and August 30th. In order to receive an admission card, all payments on tuition and fees must be current (May, June, July and August), including any late fees or NSF charges to your TADS account, and all new student (and missing current student) information and forms must be filed to the school office (see below). 



New Student Paperwork


Below is a checklist of forms and documents that must be completed for ALL new students and returned to the school office in order for us to create your student's permanent record card. This information is due as soon as possible. We must have all of this information on file in order for your student to receive his/her admission card to enter school on the first day.

  • Copy of student's birth certificate (*required)
  • Copy of student's Baptismal certificate (*required if your student is Baptized)
  • Current immunization records (*required)
  • Medical and Dental Forms (*required for new students entering Kindergarten or Grade one). Forms are available in the school office.
  • Copy of student's report card (*required for transfer students only. Note: you will also be required to sign a release form at the school office so that we can request transcripts from your child's current school)
  • If your student has a learning assessment, a psychoeducational evaluation or an IEP, please provide us with a copy. (*required if applicable)
  • If there are any court orders regarding legal and physical custody of a child, please provide us with a copy (*required if applicable)
  • School bus form (*required if applicable)*Note for RETURNING families: if you received communication from us that any of the above forms have not been filed to us, you MUST send in the missing documents in order to receive your student's admission card.

If Nurse Marjorie gave you any type of documentation at the end of the school year, please have that filled out before September 1, 2021.

After School CARES
After School CARES begins on Monday, September 20th. All paperwork must be completed and returned by August 20th. There are no exceptions. Students will not be permitted to attend CARES until all paperwork is completed and filed. Any questions, contact Ms. King at aking@olpr.org
